Hueco Mundo Plot: Long Live the Revolution!

The Story

Sougetsu Voltaire.

He is the visionary Shinigami who saw the potential for revolution in the Arrancar. The Arrancar, specifically, being a race of Hollows-gone-Shinigami who reside in and rule over Hueco Mundo, land of the Hollows. Prior to his arrival their system of government consisted of the ten coveted Espada positions, numbered from nine to zero. The lower the number the more powerful the Espada. Upon taking over leadership of the Arrancar by proving himself superior to even the Cero Espada of the time, Sougetsu brought true cooperation to the Arrancar and inspired entirely new Adjuchas and Vasto Lorde-class Hollows to undergo Shinigamification and become Arrancar. With this army he intended to rule over all three dimensions.

He failed.

Instead of being on the verge of victory over Soul Society and Earth, Sougetsu Voltaire struggles to hold onto power. Not only having failed to earn the respect of all Arrancar, even though his mere presence created a nearly unbreakable submission to Sougetsu, he also had to watch as his two highest-ranking Arrancar ascended into a new form of being. Few of the Arrancar knew or cared about what had happened, but to Sougetsu it was nothing short of catastrophic. These souls had reached a level of power that forced them to ascend beyond the boundaries of Hollow and Shinigami, becoming something else entirely.

With this transcendence came the shedding of their Aspects of Death. These Aspects represented psychological disorders taken on by Arrancar due to their Hollow nature such obsessions, debilitating habits, or rigid trains of thought. Through his own regal attitude, Sougetsu seemed to fill this hole in that the Arrancar had in their soul and they couldn’t help but follow his command. But these new souls…these “Royals”…were beyond that. Without an Aspect of Death to bind them, they were free from manipulation by his words. Free to choose their path.

Free to betray him.

Now dissent among the Arrancar is reaching a critical stage. His army of Numerós are quickly falling under the influence of the other factions, and as the forces split and grow the devastation caused by a war grows as well. Sougetsu is scrambling to hold onto the loyalty of the Arrancar, but his ability to command them only works if they are in his immediate presence. Will he be able to re-secure his power base? Or will the various revolutionaries be given their chance to take the reigns? And if they do…which faction will take it all?

That’s for you to decide.

The Factions

Faction requests will need to be submitted. I suggest that for each request we require AT LEAST four DIFFERENT players be part of it. Not just different characters, but different PLAYERS. I recommend opening this to sign-ups as soon as possible. Below is an example of what I’d like to see in a Faction Request.

Sougetsu Voltaire Loyalists

“For our glorious leader, Sougetsu!”

The Sougetsu Voltaire Loyalists are the Arrancar directly under his command. These are the ones who are fond of and loyal to their great commander. They feel that his ability to bring together the Arrancar and vastly increase their numbers and power is something they are eternally indebted for, and as such he is free to remain as their leader for as long as he sees fit. Those that think otherwise are ingrates who do not fully realize what he has done for them.

Goal

The goal for this faction is simply to keep Sougetsu in power. If they win nothing will really change in the game world aside from the banishment of execution of any remaining dissenters.

Goal

Exactly as the name suggests the goal for this faction is to overthrow Sougetsu and replace his biased and unfair government in order to end the slave-like oppression that he has forced upon the Arrancar race! Leon Masques wishes to break the shackles Sougetsu has placed upon the arrancar race, in his eyes the arrancar deserve so much more, more than a tyrant ruler, more than a broken heirachy of destruction and more than a barren lifeless and sad desert to call home. But is there more to it than meets the eye? What's going on inside the exiled espada's head that not even his own second in command knows? Are there darker motives afoot?

"Long Live The King"

Proving himself as the Alpha, Urufu has been gathering his pack to overthrow the current leader of Hueco Mundo. He doesn't like the way they are treated or condemned as criminals under Sougetsu. He wants the hollow to be free, and will do everything in his power to free them -- Even if it means taking full power. A utopia for all Hollow, Urufu is the bleachified Kira, and these are the loyal members of his pack.

(Beta) Second In-Command: His appointed lieutenant.
(Gamma) Third in command, these three closely resemble a triumvirate more then anything, although Urufu is still the clear leader.

(Delta) Commanders: Those that train and command the legion of Hollow that Urufu has persuaded into following him.

(Psi) Soldiers: These are the basic soldiers gathered by Urufu and his pack.

(Omega) Executioner: Those inside the organization that are used to weed out the traitors and spies, as well as keep everything in order. They also provide the duty of torturing and executing prisoners under Urufu's command.

(Lambda) Covert Operative, these are the shield of the organization, serving where needed. The Lambda are a bit more independent than Delta, and without the responsibility of such, but tend to possess equivalent if not superior power. A Lambda's purpose is to be where he is needed, when he is needed, to serve as a shield from the shadows and accomlish various missions.

Goal

To create a kingdom for the hollow where they are treated fairly and with respect, The Coven is a modern-day National Assembly (See France, Circa 1789) that is hellbent on creating the perfect world for the Hollow. Although he will lead them, Urufu will not rule them. He will train them and teach them to become efficient soldiers and warhounds, but will never assume full power unless absolutely necessary. He only wants what is best for the Hollow.

Goal

The goal if this faction is to bring about the destruction of Sougetsu. Intelligence suggests that different Arrancar factions are trying to bring about the same thing. They will ally themselves with whom they feel will best serve in power, or they will not ally themselves with anyone. This elite squad of Captains, Lieutenants, and some Seated Officers will infiltrate Hueco Mundo once the war begins, then proceed to Los Noches.

This is a faction without organization or a goal, and simply represents the Arrancar who don’t give a shit. If the Vagabonds win, things will return to like they were pre-Sougetsu. That is to say: Total anarchy, where the only rules are strength and power.

In here you may post up requests to join a faction or include the faction information for one of your own. Remember that we will NOT be allowing everyone and their mom to make a faction. You need to have good reasons already established through play, and preferably more than one person already on-board with your organization. So it is highly recommended, especially if you don't want to die, to join as a subordinate in someone else's faction.
