Daisy Mae's Fantastic Rank-Up Request!

Post by Cupid Mae on Thu May 26, 2011 12:11 am

Here goes T_T

Name: Daisy Mae Girard!
Current Rank: Fraccion, to LuLu Esperanza
Desired Rank: Quinto?
Holder of desired rank: N/A

RP SAMPLE:
The Fraccion with golden eyes loved the rain. And for all the wrong reasons.

The dull thud of limbs clashing filled the two combatants ear drums. It echoed down each skin cell and bone fragment, rattling every near-stable thought. Practically throwing sanity into peril. The both of them were caught up in such a unfathomable state of disbelief. These emotions managed to wash over from the depths of their brains; tainting their vigor. So very much, in fact, that their fighting took on a mechanical vibe. Arms and legs moved into action as if everything had been plotted out prior. Maybe they just knew each other so well, that the only way to one-up the other was to mimic the past. This carried on like so for a damn long while. One slice was directed there. A block. Another slice. Two more blocks, and one dodge. In all honesty, it did not look like your typical battle cut-scene in the middle of a tale. Grueling injuries along with onlookers, shaken to the core by the ferocity. And eventually, one final winner. A winner, that would walk off into the sunset with his head held high. A winner that was the true hero who had aspiring goals...an innocent heart...and the do-gooder mentality. None of this was present in their fight. This battle was merely a shambling, grievous corpse of what should've been a battle. It dragged on without any meaningful importance.
This frightfully sounded exactly like the life of Daisy Mae.

These brawlers footsteps were as silent as Death himself. No one could here them coming, just as they wanted it to be. A game of cat and mouse required taciturn movements and bloody succession. Both of them accomplished that with ridiculous ease. Then again, why shouldn't they?

One was a teacher. The other, a student. Both of them were employers of the same tactics and craft. Therefore, it had right quick evolved into a battle of prowess. Which was sharper? The teachers mind or the students blade? Experience and devotion had manifested and taken their sides. Now, it was time for the show to commence once more.

Daisy swung the blade of her katana directly at the neck of her aged sensei. The female made her moves intending on those strikes to be the ones that delivered death. The man, Topeki Hajishi, responded with an abrupt vertical kick to her blade. Her blade tumbled away from the mans body, hanging limply in her sweaty palm. His own katana sat stationary in the glossy gray scabbard. Topeki was a exceptionally adept patron of the (mostly combat) arts. “Sensei” was the one who taught her to wield a sword with pride and honor. Daisy had not fallen short of his grand expectations. But in the process, underlying scorn had been piqued. Her teacher never displayed pride in Daisy. The only words of congratulations she had received was “onto the next trial”.
This was not enough to keep her satisfied.

They worked fantastically together; a dynamic due in every sense of those words. But alas, faults were present in those souls. Flaw bled into their friendship. Unfortunately, these frailties were cemented into the very core. Each Arrancar had been...”reborn”...with them.

Topeki followed his block with straightforward punch to his student. Reiatsu clustered around the hastening right fist like a planets in orbit around it's mighty star. One hell of a spiced surprise was in store for Daisy.

Daisy's own move was pushed into motion, synchronized with her masters fluid strike. Her beautifully, almost shockingly sharp katana soared weightlessly at the right set of ribs & flesh. She would be the lucky winner. She knew it.

The result was of cataclysmic proportions. Each had been dealt a severe blow of different...genres, you could say. Silence interrupted for approximately six seconds.

Thundering barrages of sound reverberated off of one another, filling Karakura Town to the brim with havoc. Puffs of concrete dust hovered around the scene of the crime, mingling with the salty scent of Daisy Mae's sweat. Innocent blood and shredded flesh clung to numerous, flimsy sheets of paperwork. The female Fraccion coughed raucously while nimble hands forced a shitload of desk supplies out of her face. It had become clear that a high rise office building had become demolished in the process. The pressure amassed in the punch was so heavy, in fact, that Daisy's body had plunged through a total four (4) floors. And however superhuman this lady was, crashing through 4 levels of concrete, plywood, pencils, papers, and humans DID take a toll on her body. A really fucking heavy toll on her body.

Daisies' blood-splattered skull was lodged between the plastic & glass of a low-budget computer. A keyboard, pounded beyond recognition, lay under her ass. One disembodied, pudgy hand belonging to an unidentified male was sitting near her left foot. The body of said pudgy man was nowhere to be seen. But Daisy didn't give a damn. Working a 9-to-5 cubicle job was pretty much hell already. Her unscheduled landing had just put the poor bitch out of his misery. All this Fractured Fraccion cared about was destroying her ”Sensei”. He refused to draw his blade. He refused to look her in the eye. He detested giving compliments of any sort! She was never an equal, and she never would be if he remained alive! He was God to her. Topeki was the father-figure, the role model. She would've sacrificed her life for him without hesitation. Leaping in front of a blade to preserve his life was not a shocking thought. But did he acknowledge this? Not a single bit. Daisy was in many ways like a...a...a daisy! It needed to be nurtured and supported, or wilting would be the consequence!

And that was precisely why she need to kill him. Revenge.

Her hands scuttled around the debris in search of her zanpaktou. Fuck...where was it?! She couldn't help but panic amongst chaos. Daisy could barely fight without a sword to back up her natural power. Much like a carpenter without his hammer. A dancer without her beat. Utterly fucked....or so it seemed. Her eyes rose to the skies, arms flailing about to knock away dust. Fleeting sunlight filtered through the surrounding hazy cloud, casting a tawny glow on the glass-dusted female. Slowly, very slowly, the shadowy figure of Topeki was revealed. Floating...motionless.

Ecstasy! Delight! Bliss!

Various emotions shot through her veins, surging & rejuvenating the confidence of the young ex-protege! This was her golden opportunity to take him down more than just a notch. And she was going to use that window of time to the fullest.

Meanwhile, the victory forecast looked grim for Topeki.
A platinum katana was too busy with being embedded into his right lung. The bloodied blade had conflicted with toned muscle. His punch was powerful, but much too slow to prevent this mortal wound. Much to Topeki's dismay, the thick Hierro had not challenged the foreign zanpaktou in any way. Crimson blood oozed from the fatally large gash planted between his ribs. Topeki, the oh-so-great Quinto, had no choice but to admit a mistake or two. Mentally, that is. The mans judgments always tended to be on the improper side. But it was extremely safe to say that his judgment of his pupils skill had been inappropriately cruddy. That didn't mean her actions could be justified by this. Sure, Topeki had made mistakes, but he didn't think his natural mannerisms would have such an impact on Daisy. Then again, she always took everything on with too much passion. Could it be possible his student was insecure? Just as insecure as he had been? And yet, she held herself so highly. She could pass for a headstrong princess in his days. Topeki's thoughts wandered into the ancient Japanese mists. Gorgeous Geisha women...the most noble samurai...and tea brewed to perfection! Sunny memories had infiltrated his brain to comfort him. And yet, he didn't know if the lack of oxygen was just getting to him...or if life really was flashing before his eyes. The stoic sensei didn't believe in lies like "life flashing before his eyes" or "true love at first sight". Especially not "destiny". So it had to be just the decreasing oxygen in his brain, right? Pangs of pain flourishing within' his decaying body brought him back to the present time. Sharply rocketing through his nerves. The acutely curved kissaki, belonging to her zanpaktou, had punctured his lungs flesh. The viscous fluid was rapidly slipping into the failing organ, replacing the oxygen. Blood platelets rushed around in their respective vessels only to halt, clogging up each artery and capillary.
Skin, grew paler each second.

STATIC

Daisy Mae wouldn't let the injuries on her body steal any of the glory.
She was badly battered, her body speckled with blood. Opaque blue & black patches made her look like some pathetic polka-dotted monster. But she didn't care. She was rising, rising, rising through the ash cloud! The midday monster of beauty and disaster! Daisy had already used a Sonido to advance on the stagnant Sensei. Her bone-thin fingers twisted into a vicious claw as she gained momentum.
Not even a second passed as Daisies' body eclipsed the body of Topeki, side by side. Her snarled hand curled around the solid katana hilt. His katana. Crisp squealing accompanied the abduction as it scraped against the sheath on his hip.
"Kill, kill, kill!" Her brain screamed out.
Daisy kept up her Sonido until a building faced her path. She skidded against the winds, her body contorting around face the back of the Quinto. The Fraccion leapt upwards into the air and extended her right foot mere seconds before Daisy collided with yet another building. The kick augmented her already intense speed as she went rushing through the winds like a bullet. A bullet aimed directly at Topeki. The unfamiliar katana dug itself into Topeki's shoulder, nearly slicing off his left arm. It was being used for leverage, because Daisy didn't dare stab him from behind. As much as he had 'wronged' her, he deserved respect. That; and she wanted to see the light leave his eyes. The gripped katana swept upwards and was withdrawn from the massacred shoulder. It sweeped fully behind Daisies' body, who was stone-still. A taunting smirk painted the small woman as an unfamiliar character: It was a mask for the painful.
"Kill, kill, kill!" Her brain screamed out.
In a lightening-quick moment, like the climax of an opera, the katana sliced through bone. And flesh. And...a heart.
Blood pooled within' the interior of Topeki's throat.
It spilled like a waterfall from the fresh wound.
His green irises rested upon Daisy.
She stared from her hands, to the katana, then back to her hands.
And it was at that precise minute she realized what she had just done.
Tears welled, slowly at first, in her huge eyes. A gurgled wail of pain jumped out of her wriggling carnation lips, causing her to look like one panicking little toddler. The restrained emotions & regretful actions grasped her attention entirely. It hit her with a full impact, an iron wrecking ball to her cool facade. Her body shuddered and crumpled into a kneeling, sobbing mess. Those same bony fingers that were gnarled and clawed had softened swiftly. The flesh on the fingers pushed lightly around the wounds' fringes in an attempt to stop the blood flow to no avail. Choked moans shook at her torso. Daisy was collapsing in front of her idol. Her hands rested on wobbly knees as she kneeled, head bowed down in shame.

The frail Quinto raised one hand up to his student, the very same student kneeling before him in a display of penance. Or respect? The old man couldn't tell anymore. A loyal knight before the king, she was. But too loyal...she would surely need to break the mold if she wanted to get anywhere. Become her own person. He didn't want his student to be another daft drone. Pain continued to cripple his body. It hurt to think. And breath, for that matter. Death was closing, and soon enough he'd just be another speck in the wind. Numb, blood-stained fingertips grazed the young females cheek as his palm patted her languidly, leaving faint streaks on her skin.
Even though this woman had brought him death, turned upon him, and wrecked him...he was still proud of her. He did not, for one second, go easy on her. At all. Every strike was sent to kill. They had both brought their best to the table.
She would be carrying on for a very long while. And for him to know that, somewhere in the world, he had not been forgotten, was good enough for old Topeki.

Daisy failed to grasp why fat tears rolled down her cheeks. They had both entered this fight knowing that one, and only one, would emerge. A bloodied hand reached upwards to her face, sitting atop her masters hand. The last display of affection they would ever share, as rain began falling from broad clouds. Clouds, with no silver lining.
Thunder crackled above the two Arrancar's heads.

"I'm sorry..."
"For what?"

"Everything...I'm sorry for everything, Sensei."
"Don't be."

And with that, Topeki Hajishi died.
His body disintegrated away, scattering particles of ash into the wind. Daisy clutched onto the hand on her cheek before it could fall back to his body. The graying flesh tore, ripping away from the main body as Daisy held it in her hand. The final shred of her master was turning over and over again in her palms. Asides from the amassing of wrinkles and scars, there was one noticeable mark on the back of his hand.
A bold, ebony "5" in decorative script.
In the midst of their heated battle, Daisy had pretty much forgotten that he was the Quinto. You would to if you had to face off against a long-time friend and trainer. This only triggered more tears. A Garganta formed about 10 meters down while the hand finally crumbled away like the other remains. Icy but long-awaited rain cascaded down from the heavens in generous droves. She couldn't even tell if it was singular drops, or just one big wave. It cleansed the dirt, ash, and blood seemingly glued to her skin, leaving only slashes on her body behind. Those would heal with time, forming into scars later on. What would refuse to heal up and fade away, would be the memories.

Another moan of torment [both mental and physical] was released into the Living Realm. Her body fell with raindrops from it's platform in the sky. Screaming winds was all that filled her ears, agony filled her heart. Hailstones felt like rose petals compared to the injuries

The Fraccion...Quinto with golden eyes loved the rain. And for all the wrong reasons.

[I apologize, I got slightly lazy during the end of the RP Sample...]
